Your ride to jumping altitude will take between 10 to 20 minutes depending on various factors (i.e. the type of aircraft, how high you are acsending, wind conditions, number of people on the plane). Once you exit the aircraft, you will freefall for approximately one minute. After your parachute opens, you will fly for between 5-7 minutes before you land. [top]

To some degree. On the plane, you may be seated with several others which may require you to keep your knees bent for the ride to altitude.
